Our Boston office houses a deeply rooted team with a commitment to this city that spans decades. We have forged a strong reputation in the Boston legal community, and remain active in bar associations, organizations, speaking engagements, local volunteering, committees, and pro bono work. Our established presence and a balanced depth that spans regulatory, litigation, IP, and corporate means we can effectively serve anyone in this city.
Our Boston office is particularly known for its powerhouse corporate and finance, intellectual property, and litigation teams. Our corporate and finance team has extensive experience representing public and private companies, private equity and venture capital firms, and investors on a broad range of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and other strategic business transactions.
Our intellectual property team includes scientists and sophisticated business advisors who assist a variety of clients—including startups, mature multinationals, nonprofits, universities, and venture capital and private equity investors—in strategic patent portfolio development and management.
Our litigation and white collar defense practice includes some of Boston’s most accomplished trial attorneys and lawyers, all of whom provide well-rounded perspectives that drive results-oriented legal solutions for clients both inside and outside the courtroom.
Like all Hogan Lovells locations, our Boston-based lawyers work in conjunction with the firm’s global network of more than 35 offices, drawing on colleagues with subject matter knowledge in regulatory, antitrust, tax, employment and employee benefits, real estate, environmental, national security, privacy, and more. Tapping into our diverse experiences, we work together for the benefit of all our clients. Our team is in Boston, but we have a world-wide presence and reach.
