Khaled advises clients across industries — including technology, health care, sports, media, and financial services — on the legal, regulatory, and commercial issues surrounding data, innovation, and risk. As counsel at Hogan Lovells, he helps organizations navigate complex compliance obligations, manage data assets, and address evolving risks in high-stakes contexts such as business partnerships, M&A transactions, strategic procurement, and large-scale data deals.

Khaled draws on deep experience with U.S. federal and state privacy and consumer protection laws — including HIPAA, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the FTC Act, GDPR, and GLBA  — and applies this knowledge well across industries with a particular focus on healthcare and other highly regulated industries. He regularly counsels clients on establishing data-sharing arrangements and negotiating commercial agreements involving sensitive information and cutting-edge technologies.

Khaled has worked with a wide range of clients, from start-ups and emerging companies to established multinationals and investors, helping them identify and mitigate regulatory and commercial risks while advancing innovation. His practical, business-focused approach supports clients as they navigate complex transactions, deploy digital solutions, and leverage data as a critical business asset.
